Padmavati To Release As (Padmavat) Based On 26 Important Changes While CBFC nods for U/A certification.
A closed committee including members of royal family and historians along with CBFC have agreed on releasing the film only if some conditions like Padmavati to release as (Padmavat) is changed along with few more terms.

Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s upcoming release Padmavat starring Ranveer Singh, Deepika Padukone and Shahid Kapoor was absolutely hated by the few communities and the followers of Rani Padmavati. Hence, the film did not release on the actual mentioned date, as the central board of film certification did not certify due to certain terms and conditions.
Owning to the same, the CBFC asked the makers to submit the film with changes, and a new panel was set to decide the fate of the release. A meeting was held with the closed committee on December 28, 2017, chaired by head Prasoon Joshi who is the current chairman of the Central Board of Film Certification India. The film has finally got a green signal for a release with 26 cuts, but only if the following conditions are met:
- Name of the film to be changed from Padmavati to release as (Padmavat)
- Will get a U/A certification
- Additional disclaimers will be added to the film
- Will not glorify SatiPopular song ‘Ghoomar’ will be amended

The committee which met to discuss the certification and release included the members of royal family, historians and others from the community, who said that the film will not be allowed to release unless they are satisfied with what is shown to the audience, in order to maintain dignity for the queen they follow and respect.
Although the CBFC is all set to give a nod to the film, the question arises if the new film certification board respects creativity or plays a diplomacy game to keep the communal riots aside. The answer is clear! Padmavati
