First Half Review: The first half of Jawaan is laced with complete commercial elements as the director balances it with the good dose of action episodes and an interesting mind game between the hero and the villain. The interval block is well shot. Sai Dharam Tej did his best and his energy levels are praiseworthy.
Sai Dharam Tej has been decent with his performance throughout the film. He has been energetic and stylish in the role of Jai and has been apt. Mehreen has been stunning and glamorous throughout the film. Prasanna looked outstanding on screen and has been quite expressive. All the other actors delivered out their best for the film. The film lacks entertainment and takes on a serious note.
- Sai Dharam Tej
- First half (at parts)
- Interval block
- Background score
- Second half
- Predictable plot
The film has been shot in and around Hyderabad, at places like Taramati, Charminar, Moazzam Jahi Market and other locations. Except for one song, everything was shot outdoors.
Jawan Movie Rating : 3/5
Jawan Movie Verdict : Overall Sai Dharam Tej played a safe game. The first half was good but second half could have been better. Especially climax could have been better. Certain section of Mega Audience might connect with this film and not sure if families would embrace it. There is lack of entertainment in the movie. The director BVS Ravi has chosen an Routine story, which has been explored a couple of times. He has made it engaging with action, romance, family sentiments, heavy-duty dialogues and patriotic elements. Jawaan is a well-packaged film with perfect blend of commercial elements and good, thought-provoking social message. Worth to Watch Film This Friday Entertainer.
